About to meet Jesus?

I was encouraged in the last couple weeks by several pastors. They affirmed that The Healing of Jabez has definite ministry applications. A hospice chaplain has asked me to present at a church healing group. The thought of people who are about to die (absent God's intervention) getting healed intrigues me---I'm referring to believers who are already born again and committed to Jesus. We know that when we/they go to be with the Lord they will be healed:` And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Rev.21:4) So why minister to their healing when they are "on the verge"?? Does Rev.22:2 give us any insight to that question? Do the Gentiles have a particular need for or manner of receiving healing at some point after they make their home in the NJ?
