Satan says "Evangelize!"

of course he always adds a footnote or two such as "but not today" or "after you graduate from seminary". God wants us to introduce people to Jesus. If your friend had a legal problem wouldn't you want to introduce her to a good attorney you know? Of course! We do so because we care for our friend. My point is that the word "evangelize" can scare us into inaction or confuse us because we think it takes special training or qualifications.Thank God the man born blind (John 9) had no such confusion! A dear friend of mine has had cancer removed once already and faces possible recurrence. This friend does not yet see a need for Jesus in his/her life. But the need for healing and the fear of death are pressing concerns. The Healing of Jabez was, I pray, the perfect gift because he/she can connect his/her need for healing to what Jabez experienced. As he/she walks the path with Jabez, Jesus will join them. Jabez will help you with the introduction!
