What you will learn
Using the Bible and John Mauck’s The Healing of Jabez, attendees will find ways of dealing with their own pain while being equipped to start a healing ministry in your own church to help others dealing with hurt. This two-day retreat will be life-transforming for yourself and those in your church.
Schedule
Arrival: Early afternoon, Friday, May 21 - Departure: 2 p.m., Saturday, May 22.
Friday Schedule: 1 p.m. get acquainted, 2-5 p.m. session one, 6 p.m. dinner, 7:30-9:00 p.m. session two.
Saturday Schedule: 7:30 a.m. breakfast, 9 - 11:30 a.m. session three, lunch followed by closing remarks
John & Rosemary Mauck
Your hosts and retreat leaders
John Mauck is an attorney, author and biblical scholar. His latest book, The Healing of Jabez, is helping many find purpose, wholeness and peace in their lives. An attorney in private practice for over 30 years, his firm specializes in helping churches and ministries. During his practice John has witnessed much hurt in the world. He established Jabez Healing Retreats to help church leaders establish biblically accurate healing ministries that glorify God and provide help for hurting people. John is also author of the critically acclaimed Paul on Trial.
Rosemary Mauck has been active in healing ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Evanston, IL along with her husband, John and is a VP at JP Morgan Chase.
